The Legacy Fighting Alliance returned to action on Friday night, and the promotion lived up to its reputation as the proving ground for up-and-coming prospects and those who believe they deserve another shot in the big leagues alike.
The most recognizable name at LFA 72 in Phoenix was Arizona’s own Anthony Birchak. The former UFC competitor earned a rugged submission win over Raphael Montini at just 1:34 of the opening round of their co-feature fight.
The headliner was a middleweight bout, and that, too, featured a fast finish. Daniel Madrid submitted Chris Harris via rear-naked choke in just 51 seconds to cap a fun night of fights.
