LFA 71 took place Friday night at the Coca-Cola Roxy in Atlanta and aired on AXS TV.
In the main event, a new champion was crowned as Jason Jackson (10-3) won a hard-fought split decision over Hemerson Souza (7-5) to claim the vacant LFA welterweight title. The event also featured a scary submission finish when Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt Ary Farias (8-2) defeated Devante Sewell (7-4) with a rear-naked choke that had Sewell’s eyes rolling to the back of his head.
