Leyton shooting: Man, 30, fights for life after three people blasted in street

Three men have been injured in a triple shooting in east London.

The victims - aged 23, 28 and 30 - were found wounded on Leyton High Road.

The 30-year-old is in a critical condition and the other two are stable.

Police were called 8.50pm this evening after reports that shots had been fired in the area.

Armed officers discovered the three men suffering from gunshot injuries.

Paramedics treated the men at the scene and their conditions at this stage are unknown.

Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman told Essex Live: “Police were called on Saturday, May 4, at 8.50pm to reports of shots fired in Leyton High Road.

"Local officers and armed officers attended. Three men - aged 23, 28 and 30 - were found suffering from gunshot injuries.

“They were treated by paramedics at the scene.

"We await an update on their condition. No arrests. Enquiries are ongoing.”
