Leyton Orient to keep faith with squad which won promotion to League Two

Leyton Orient are set to keep faith with the core of the team who got them promoted into League Two.

Having secured the National League title last month, Orient play AFC Fylde in the FA Trophy Final on Sunday looking to seal a non-League Double. They will then begin planning for another promotion challenge next season.

Manager Justin Edinburgh will look for some new additions, but he is expected to keep faith with his current squad and promote a group of up to six youngsters from the academy.

Orient director Matt Porter said: “The club has stability under the new ownership. The last time we were at Wembley was for the Play-off Final in 2014, which was the beginning of the downfall for the club.

“We went into three really dark years. This is maybe a chance for us to go full circle. This is a chance for that road to redemption to continue.”
