Leyton Orient fixtures for League One 2025-26 season confirmed

Leyton Orient will face Huddersfield in their 2025-26 League One opener.

The east Londoners came within a whisker of the unlikeliest of promotions to the Championship last term, but their dreams were shattered by Charlton at Wembley as Macaulay Gillesphey’s free-kick proved the difference.

Now, Richie Wellens’ side must do it all again in the third tier, but they will have to do so without some key players.

Charlie Kelman, Jamie Donley and Jack Currie have returned to QPR, Tottenham and Oxford respectively after the end of their loan spells. Replacing them will be a big ask.

Orient finished sixth last term, with a run of five straight victories to close out the campaign making them the form team going into the end-of-season lottery.

They then stunned Stockport over two legs, beating Dave Challinor’s big spenders on penalties at Edgeley Park.

Wellens penned a new three-year deal in E10 last week as the O’s look to put their Wembley woes behind them.
