Mid-life update includes some cosmetic tweaks, more features, increased prices and a new NX300 badge replacing the outgoing NX200t.

The Lexus division of Toyota Motor Thailand has announced prices for the updated NX premium compact SUV.
Mid-life design tweaks include new LED lights and bumpers on both the front and rear ends and tweaked look for the spindle-style grille.
Upper-end models get more features like 18-inch wheels, automatic boot operation with kick sensor, 10.3-inch infotainment screen and adjustable dampers. Included in the F-Sport and Premium trim, as well, are four driver-assist items from the Lexus Safety Sense+ pack.
Like before, there are two engine variances to choose from, both unchanged technically. The NX300h comes with 197hp 2.5-litre petrol-electric hybrid, while the NX300, renamed from NX200t, has 235hp 2.0-litre petrol-turbo engine.
Due to more features appearing in the NX, prices have risen by around 20,000 baht across the range. There are four grades for the NX300h ranging from 2.93-4.05 million baht. The NX300 comes in just two trims: 3.44 and 4.45 million baht.
Later this month, the BMW X3 and Volvo XC60, direct rivals for the NX, will be introduced in new-generation forms. Both are expected with four-cylinder diesel engines with projected prices of 3-3.5 million baht.
