Lewis Hamilton calls out F1 world for being silent about George Floyd’s death and protests

On Sunday, legends like Michael Jordan and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar weighed in on George Floyd’s death and the protests that have followed throughout our country.

Now we can add another legendary athlete to that list, as F1 star Lewis Hamilton blasted others in the F1 world for remaining quiet about the protests, saying: “I see those of you who are staying silent, some of you the biggest of stars yet you stay silent in the midst of injustice. Not a sign from anybody in my industry which of course is a white-dominated sports.”

As we noted earlier, the NASCAR world has also been pretty quiet about all of this, too.
