Lewis Grabban only need point to 'incredible' Nottingham Forest record to answer his critics

Lewis Grabban has now scored 22 goals in 50 games after bringing up his half century of appearances for Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night.

That's an incredible record and one that you can't argue with.

He gets criticised for other areas of his game, but all he has to do is turn around and say to his critics just what his goal record is.

You can't question it.

For me, there is more he can do as an all-round footballer, but he gets goals and that makes him an absolutely massive part of this team.

You could look at a player like Gary Lineker and question his work outside the area, but he scored a bucket load of goals and that is what people remember him for.

My big worry in the context of the team is what happens if Grabban gets injured?

Who do Forest have who is going to score the volume of goals needed without him? Rafa Mir might do it, but we don't know if he can and that lack of certainty means it is really essential he stays fit at least until January.
