He's currently spending his time working on the difficult second album but Lewis Capaldi dragged himself from the studio to enjoy a show in Glasgow last night.
The BRIT Award singer showed up to support pal Sam Fender at the first of his sold-out shows at the Barrowlands.
Sam, who recently announced an arena tour stopping off at Glasgow's Hydro, shared a video of him and Lewis backstage celebrating his show.
Enjoying a glass of red wine together, Lewis can be heard saying 'job well done' before cheersing his friend.
Sam shared a touching caption, reading "me and this lad released our first singles at the same time in 2017, madness what's happened since" with a love heart emoji.
Sam's career has gone from strength to strength since catapulting to fame in 2017 with him scoring his second number one album earlier this month. He was mentioned alongside Lewis Capaldi on BBC's Sound of 2018 shortlist.
Lewis is currently taking a break from touring to concentrate on writing. He rescheduled all his gigs planned for this year to focus on getting his second album recorded and out there.
Lewis said: "I hate the thought of letting anyone down, especially after the year we've just had but i know that, more than anything, getting the album right has to be my number one priority at the moment. I hope you understand."
One stroke of good news is that he'll be playing TRNSMT 2022
