Lewis Capaldi treats fans to free Greggs after Glasgow show

Lewis Capaldi gave his adoring fans a night to remember in more ways than one following his gig in Glasgow .

The Bathgate singer decided to treat a 2,500 strong crowd of concert goers to a free Greggs after his show.

The 23-year-old handed out wristbands with the words "the Capaldi tab" for fans to head down to the branch on Argyle Street.

The branch, which is close to Glasgow Central train station, stayed open till midnight as people flocked to pick up a free pastry.

Capaldi also hired a DJ to entertain 2,500 fans who packed into the popular music venue on Saturday evening.

The store was packed late into the evening as music lovers wore Lewis Capaldi masks while they munched on Sausage Rolls, Festive Bakes, Steak Bakes and Vegan Sausage Rolls.

Earlier this year the 23-year-old shocked Greggs lovers by turning up for a shift in full uniform at a store in Middlesborough.

Throughout the day he served customers sausage rolls, sandwiches and hot drinks.
