Lewis Capaldi has added another huge London date to his UK tour after the first show sold out in just 19 seconds.
Capaldi, who will release his hugely anticipated debut album, Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, on May 17, had been scheduled to play one show at the SSE Arena in Wembley next year.
However, after tickets for that concert disappeared almost immediately, the Scotsman has added another gig at the same venue on Friday March 13.
He has also extended his tour to visit Aberdeen’s TECA, with every other UK date on the tour now sold out as well.
Announcing the news on Twitter, Capaldi said that these new concerts will “likely be the last UK shows” on his March tour.
It comes as part of Capaldi’s meteoric rise to fame, thanks to songs such as his hit number one single, Someone You Loved. He was nominated for the BRIT Critics’ Choice Award in 2019, eventually losing out to fellow breakout star, Sam Fender.
