Lewis Capaldi hilariously told fans to "buy their gran a sea bass for Christmas" as he gave his dad's fishmongers a shout-out.
The Scottish singer was back on his Instagram stories providing his followers some much-needed entertainment - and this time he was joking about fish.
The 24-year-old was trying to hype up his dad's business - KP’s Seafood Specialist in Bearsden, near Glasgow - as he urged fans to try out some of the seafood.
He even told fans that a piece of sea bass or halibut would be the perfect Christmas gift this year, as he came up with the unofficial slogan of "fish that isnae pish".
He said: "If people my age are thinking I don't know what to get my grandmother for Chirtsmas.
"Get them a big f*** off sea bass. Get her a sea bass from my dad's shop and say there you go gran. Stick this sea bass right in your neck.
"Be sure to think of me when you've got a mouthful of clams."
He added: "I know what you're thinking. Is Lewis' father using his son to further his own business?
"The answer is yes and if you're thinking that's disgusting, I agree! But the fish is delicious. It's delicious fish.

Lewis tried out a few slogans for his dad's business, with the first being "Mon get your f***king fish the now."
The Someone You Loved finally settled on the perfect strapline and said: "'KP's Seafood Specialist. The fish that isnae pish.' That's pretty good isn't it?"
Lewis previously said if it hadn’t been for music, he could have been selling fish for a living.
But the singer-songwriter admits it would have been soul-destroying – as he can’t stand fish.
Lewis said: “My dad is a fishmonger. He has a fish shop – KP’s Fresh Fish in Bearsden, near Glasgow – so I’d probably work there. But I hate the smell of fish and can’t look at prawns.”
Luckily, his debut album, Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, remained at the top of the UK album chart for six weeks and is currently working on his second album.
