Lewis Capaldi stunned fans last night as he made a surprise appearance in Glasgow's east end.
The Someone You Loved Singer was spotted posing for snaps with fans before waving to the gathered crowd in the back seat of a car.
It is believed the West Lothian singer was in the town visiting his brother, going for a chippy, and couldn't leave without being recognised.
After the news of his visit surfaced online, local fans expressed their sadness at missing him.
One fan said: "Omg brilliant!"
While another added: "I would have loved to have met him!"
One joked: "I went to Paris to see him a fortnight ago...could have walked round the corner lol!"
This comes just days after Lewis launched an online appeal to find fellow Scottish singer Paolo Nutini which had the backing of thousands on Twitter.
Just last week, the singer-songwriter scooped two Brit Awards for Best Song and Best New Artist at the glittering ceremony at the 02 Arena.
