Lewis Capaldi spotted in Dennistoun prior to sold out Hydro gigs

Lewis Capaldi surprised locals after he was spotted in Dennistoun in the east end of Glasgow last night.

The Someone You Loved singer took time to have his photograph with a young fan on Craigielea Street, and was also snapped giving the 'peace' sign from a car in the area.

Capaldi is back in town prior to his UK arena tour kicking off in Manchester next week - one which will also see him perform two shows at the SSE Hydro next Thursday and Friday.

His appearance back in Glasgow comes a month after Capaldi excited fans in the city after dropping in for lunch at Italian restaurant Caffe Parma in Hyndland in the west end.

And it's not the first time the singer has been spotted in Dennistoun - with last year Italian restaurant Amore d'Italia on Alexandra Parade posting a photo of him in after he visited.

Meanwhile, yesterday we reported how fellow singer Paolo Nutini is 'alive' after Capaldi sent Twitter into meltdown after sharing his concern that the Paisley star hadn't been seen or heard from in ages.
