Lewis Capaldi's ex Paige Turley 'single' after Love Island partner Ollie Williams quits show

Lewis Capaldi's ex-girlfriend Paige Turley has been 'dumped' after her Love Island partner quit the show.

Posh Ollie Williams has packed his bags and left Paige behind after just three days amid his trophy-hunting scandal.

The 23-year-old claims he left the villa after realising he is still in love with his ex-girlfriend Laura Nofer, 23.

A Love Island Spokesperson told Mirror Online : "Ollie has made the decision to leave the Love Island villa."

Paige Turley apologised to her superstar ex Lewis Capaldi (ITV)

Explaining his reasons for leaving, Ollie said in the Beach Hut "I have to be honest with myself, and everyone, that I do still love someone else…

"I have to follow my heart in this scenario and it would be wrong for me to ignore these feelings.

"At the end of the day, this is Love Island and it’s about finding love. If I carried on anything with Paige, or any other girl that might come into the villa, it wouldn’t be fair on them."

However, his timing came amid mounting pressure for ITV bosses to remove him from the villa after pictures of his sickening trophy hunting came to light.

The snaps infuriated fans of the show, who launched a petition on Change.org demanding ITV remove Ollie and it's now hit the 36k mark.

As of Tuesday, it had reached 36,681 names and was continuing to climb rapidly.

A message posted alongside the petition declared: "Ollie Williams who is due to enter Winter Love Island has been exposed as a bloodthirsty big trophy hunter.

"He has proudly posed with an array of dead endangered animals including warthog and water buffalos among other animals he killed in Africa in order to promote his hunting business, Cornish Sporting Agency.

"The disgusting photos were posted on an  Instagram  account that was deleted before it was announced that Ollie would be one of the contestants joining the winter series of Love Island in South Africa.

"ITV allowing him to be on the show is implying that they are okay with his sick and sadistic hobby.

"Ollie Williams should not be allowed to take part or compete in the Love Island series and he should not be allowed on a such a public platform.

Friends of the Love Island star have since denied that he's a blood sports enthusiast despite the sickening photos - claiming Ollie is actually passionate about nature.

Mirror Online has contacted a representative for Love Island for further comment.
