Lewis Capaldi parties with Noel Gallagher's daughter at her dad's gig after 'Chewbacca' spat

Lewis Capaldi continues to fight back in his spat with Noel Gallagher after he was branded as "f***ing Chewbacca".

The young singer filmed himself on Instagram stories alongside Gallagher's daughter Anaïs in the crowd at Mad Cool festival on Thursday night.

The friends are captured trolling the father at his headline gig in Madrid calling out: "Dad?"

Countless fans posted the video to Twitter, with one user saying it's time Noel admitted defeat while another described the relationship as the modern-day Romeo and Juliet.

The unlikely conflict between the musicians started earlier in July after the 52-year-old described music at the minute as "f***ing w**k" in an interview with Radio X, before directly targeting the Scottish singer with "Who's this Capaldi fella? Who the f***'s that idiot?"

Making light of the comments, Capaldi blew them up a big screen for the thousands at his Glastonbury set crowd to read, where he then revealed he was wearing a t-shirt featuring Gallagher's face inside a love heart underneath his green parker - an ode to the Oasis days.

Since the performance, the High Flying Birds frontman told Variety: "F*****g Chewbacca should enjoy his 15 minutes. The greatest day of his life that I slagged him off or called him an idiot."

The 22-year-old was then branded 'genius' for his second retaliation after he changed his Twitter name and profile picture to liken himself to The Star Wars character.

Noel's brother Liam has unsurprisingly got in on the action to back up the Hold Me While You Wait star.

In a video to Twitter, the ex-Oasis and Beady Eye frontman is filmed eating soup with a fork - another dig to a reference Noel said about him in 2009. After thanking his 'brothers and sisters' for buying tickets for his tour, where he'll be performing at Manchester Arena on November 20, bagpipes are played.

He continues: "By the way, Scotland [is a] beautiful country, the people are magnificent. Get yourself up there. I am he, you are he, you are me and we are all together."
