Life's never dull when you're Lewis Capaldi, it seems. And yesterday the singing sensation caused panic among fans after claiming that his hotly anticipated Hydro gig had sold out before tickets had gone on general sale.
The social media savvy singer posted a tweet on Wednesday morning saying that fans had snaffled all the tickets for his March 5 Hydro show within just 1 second of pre sales going live - and that a glitch meant that the venue sold out despite it only being presale.
But fans still have a chance to get tickets after the Bathgate crooner announced a second Glasgow date at The Hydro, on March 6, 2020 .
Tickets for the second Glasgow gig are on pre sale now , but general sale is still expected to go ahead for both Hydro shows tomorrow morning at 9am .
Ticketmaster declined to comment on Capaldi's outlandish claims after the japester sent Twitter into meltdown with the ticket information.
He tweeted: "F*** I think someone left the ticket tap on & we sold the entire Hydro arena out on pre-sale.

"F*** think all of these might've sold out, all of the pre-sale tickets .
"Apparently u all had them in baskets by 1 second past 9 keep trying just in case!
"Hold tight am asking about another date don't go anywhere".

And it's not just Glasgow where Capaldi is having his success.
According to his Twitter, both Manchester shows sold 95% on pre-sale.
Dubin and Cardiff pre-sale have also all sold out, with only a handful of tickets left in London.
But with general sale still scheduled to go ahead at 9am on Friday 26 April for all the 2020 arena shows, fans are still in with a chance.

Capaldi zoomed to success earlier this year with his single Someone You Loved which stayed at the number one spot for seven weeks, but his popularity has been helped massively by the 22 year old's prolific use of social media - earning him a legion of fans who love his down to earth sense of humour.
