Some stars want to be remembered on the Hollywood walk of fame, with their name engraved into a brass star.
But what higher accolade is there for a Scottish musician, than to have a gritter named after you by Transport Scotland?
Forget the bright lights and flashing cameras, Lewis Capaldi has been honoured by Scotland in the most fitting way possible.
Scotland Transerv took to Twitter this morning to share the announcement, reports Glasgow Live.
The road maintenance body said: "Lewis Capaldi might be America's Sweetheart but you know you're arrived when Scotland Transerv names a gritter after you."
Lewis' gritter is called Lew-Ice Capaldi and we're pretty sure the down-to-earth Bathgate singer is going to be over the moon with the news.
He follows in the footsteps of other Scottish celebrities who have had gritters named after them, including Sir Andy Flurry and My Name's Doddie.
The latest announcement follows on from more success for Lewis, whose single Someone You Loved reached number one in the US charts last week.
However, it's not all been plane sailing for the chart-topper who recently had to cancel three shows on his world tour due to illness.
