HE may be a West Lothian lad at heart – but Lewis Capaldi has been hanging out in LA with some of the biggest stars in the world.
The Scots hit-maker rubbed shoulders with Justin Bieber, Sam Smith, Shawn Mendes, Hailee Steinfeld and Lionel Ritchie as they celebrated Universal Music chief Sir Lucian Grainge being honoured with a Hollywood Walk of Fame star.
Lewis, from Whitburn, seemed delighted to make more A-list pals – with Liam Gallagher and Niall Horan already on his friends list.
And it follows days of online banter between Bieber and Lewis on twitter. Lewis declared he was just as hot as Justin and Shawn as he uploaded a new selfie on Thursday.
Justin – who boasts 108.1million Twitter followers –quickly replied: “You are.”
Social media couldn’t get enough of the talented pair’s patter – with the latest tweet racking up 31,900 likes since it was posted on Thursday afternoon.
Lewis’s track Someone You Loved topped the Spotify streaming chart in the UK last year.
But Justin is no slouch on the platform, after he became the first artist to notch up six tracks with one billion downloads last May.
