Lewis Capaldi ditches moving to LA... for Glasgow instead

Lewis Capaldi has revealed where he'll be moving now he's hit a million followers on social media.

The West Lothian star recently celebrated his song Someone You Loved being number one in the charts for six weeks.

He hit another milestone this morning as he passed seven figures.

In an Instagarm story last night Lewis made a couple of "promises" if he hit the mark on the social media platform, including moving to Los Angeles and buying a Mercedes G Wagon, the Daily Record reports.

He said: "First thing I'm going to do when I hit a million followers is buy a G Wagon, no more cutting about in my mum's Ford Fiesta. I want to buy a G Wagon that's that. Can you get them on finance?

Lewis Capaldi delighted as his song is covered on The Voice final

Moments later.

He said: "So I've just looked there and it's actually quite expensive to get a G Wagon even on finance, so I'm going to go for the next best thing, a Golf."

He continued: "Next thing I'm going to do when I hit a million followers is buy myself a house in Los Angeles. I can't live with my mum and dad anymore. Who's going to wash my pants and that?"

Lewis Capaldi gives 'favourite' West Lothian takeaway shout out in hilarious video

Moments later.

"I've just weighed up the options. LA's quite far away, I've just realised and eh...I'm going to move a wee bit closer to home, to Dennistoun, Glasgow."

He then said: "So the last thing I was going to do was get a personal trainer when I hit a million followers. But I've been thinking about it and I can't be f****d."
