Lewis Capaldi hot-foots it from Glasgow curry house toilet in viral TikTok clip

It's always a good day when a rare Lewis Capaldi is spotted in the wild and the most recent sighting doesn't disappoint.

The Someone You Loved singer was seen in the west end enjoying some downtime on Easter Sunday.

Lewis was caught on camera by a diner at Ashoka in Ashton Lane while nipping back from the toilet.

David Muir captured the moment by chance after thinking his pal was winding him up after saying Lewis went into the toilet ahead of her.

The video, posted on TikTok, has amassed over two million views

David told Glasgow Live: "Me and my friend were out for dinner in Ashoka in Ashton Lane on Sunday evening, my friend got up to use the toilet and came back to the table and told me that the gentleman who went into the toilet before her was Lewis Capaldi, as this sounded so out of this world I began to laugh in her face and video her trying to tell me what she had just saw.

"To my shock it actually was the real Lewis Capaldi and we caught it all on video.

"The video has nearly 2 million views and has started being shared by other viral pages."

Lewis can be seen hot-footing it back from the bathroom and thanking staff for their hospitality in the process.

The singer is currently working on his second album and has been keeping a low profile while putting the hours in.

We can't wait to see if his Easter shenanigans make it onto the record.
