Lewis Capaldi gets Dominos pizza delivered on board Edinburgh to London train

Scottish superstar Lewis Capaldi has been dealing with a matter of "upmost importance" this morning as he traveled from Edinburgh to London.

The Someone You Love singer was overheard trying to organise a platform delivery as he traveled on the Edinburgh to London train.

The singer tweeted Dominos from the 11:30am Edinburgh to London LNER service to try to organise the special delivery.

"HELLO @Dominos_UK I HAVE AN URGENT REQUEST CAN YOU PLEASE DM ME, ONCE AGAIN IT IS A MATTER IF THE UPMOST IMPORTANCE THANK YOU. Your friend, Lewis Capaldi x", he tweeted.

The pizza chain told Edinburgh Live they were sorting out the logistics and working hard to fulfil his request.

His fans avidly followed the progress of the request.

One tweeted Domino's to ask: "Can I use my American credit card to buy Mr. Capaldi a pizza? It seems like it must be urgent and I'm sure he's just forgotten his credit card number. Can't have him losing weight and deflating those lovely cheeks."

And in an exciting update shared to his Insta story at around 1.30pm, he confirmed that Domino's had managed to delivery the goods - when the train stopped in Newcastle.

And who can blame him for a feeling a bit peckish? The singer, who lives with his parents in West Lothian, shared videos online earlier this week of his work out.

In a homemade music video for the remix of his hit song, Before You Go, Capaldi shows off his fitness regime.

Lewis filmed the eBay ad to help promote small businesses.

He has also signed and is auctioning off the vintage track top that he wears in the video for charity on eBay UK here – which has this morning hit bids of over £8,000.

All money raised will go to suicide prevention charity, CALM. The vibrant, signed designer shirt worn by Lewis in the remake was bought from vintage small business seller Sheanie's Vintage.

With it closing at 8pm on 13 July, you best act fast!
