Earlier this week, Lewis sported a brand new look as he donned a dark moustache.

The Scots star revealed that growing the barely noticeable facial hair took him 'six weeks' and he even had to to 'colour it in with mascara' to make it visible.

The singer explained his reasoning for the moustache, joking that he's using it as 'a disguise for his own safety' after several videos of kids crying watching his new music video circulated online.

Lewis looked suave in the photos as he posed with his new moustache and pushed his hair back from his face.

In the captioned post, which saw him pull a number of funny faces, Lewis wrote: "have made too many children cry with my new music video for wish you the best so I’ve decided it’s time to assume a disguise for my own safety (it took me SIX WEEKS to grow this moustache and I had to colour it in with mascara so it was actually visible… I’m 26 years old).
