Tottenham Hotspur supporters are reacting in their numbers to the Joe Rodon transfer.
One of Spurs head coach Jose Mourinho's priorities in the summer window was to bolster his options at centre-back following Jan Vertonghen's exit at the end of last season.
But after missing out on signing Inter Milan's Milan Skriniak in the international transfer window, Rodon became the number one target and a deal was confirmed on Friday evening.
"We are delighted to announce the signing of Joe Rodon on a permanent transfer from Swansea City, subject to international clearance," a statement reads.
football.london understands the 22-year-old which will cost Spurs £11million plus add-ons.
In addition, Tottenham had been in talks with the Championship club for weeks with the breakthrough finally coming on deadline day in the final hours.
Rodon's arrival takes Spurs' major summer signings up to seven.
And there has been quite a response to this deal from supporters on social media.
Given that Rodon is the latest signing in what has been a very good transfer window for Spurs, some fans haven't been able to contain their excitement.

When speaking earlier in the day about Levy's work during the transfer window, Mourinho praised the chairman and the club's board.
"What they did for the team was amazing. In such a difficult period where I always believed we were not able to reach some of the targets, some of the needs, the club made an incredible effort.
"Mr Levy showed once more that when he wants and when he is really involved he is a genius in the way he makes deals happen."
