Levi Davis: New boat video shows moments before X Factor star was last seen in Barcelona

A new video shows missing X Factor star in the moments before he vanished in Barcelona.

Levi Davis, 24, was last heard from on October 29 when he visited The Old Irish Pub in Barcelona, near the tourist hotspot La Rambla.

CCTV footage was previously released of him leaving the bar at 10.05pm, having left Ibiza with only a small backpack earlier the same day.

Now, another unearthed clip shows the missing Rugby Union player on a boat.

He sent the short clip to his mother Julie, from Solihull in the West Midlands, and can be heard telling from the deck of the boat, "It's beautiful here".

Officers found his passport around two weeks later, but not provide further information.

Levi's mum Julie said the last few weeks have been the "scariest time" and is desperate for more information from Spanish authorities, reports the BBC.

Levi's family had apparently received a tip that he was seen in Placa Sant Agusti Vell, a homeless area and a square just minutes away from Barcelona's Arc de Triomf monument on Monday.

And just a week earlier, the same witness is also reported to have seen Levi in another square, near La Boqueria Market - just a six-minute walk from the Irish pub where Levi was last seen.

The former Bath rugby union star's mum has now cast doubt on these sightings, however, after visiting Barcelona to help retrace her son's footsteps before flying back to her home in Birmingham.

She said the family remain hopeful but were becoming "increasingly concerned" as there have been no confirmed reports of Levi since the day he disappeared.

After the rugby player was reported missing, a social media appeal was launched.

CCTV showed him carrying a small black rucksack, while wearing a white short-sleeved T-shirt, black trousers and black and white trainers.

He had left Ibiza abruptly with barely any money, spare clothes or passport, according to his close friend Richard Squire.

He has not even used his bank cards since he vanished in the Catalan capital, and had only €40 in cash on him.

Spanish police said Levi's phone signal was last detected close to Barcelona's Sants mainline train station overnight on October 29, but the mobile has not been used since.

While theories have swirled around his disappearance, his mother revealed that he did not provide the family with an address of where he was staying as he planned to be "moving around".

She went on to tell Spanish Daily ABC that he had depression and had gone missing on previous occasions - but for “no more than two or three days”.

She said: "He would always come back or we would find him but it’s been 12 days now and this is not normal. He must be disorientated or confused."
