Levante vs Real Madrid
LaLiga 2018-19
Venue: Estadi Ciutat de Valencia
Date: Sunday, 24 February 2019
Kick-off time: 7:45pm GMT, tonight
Real Madrid are back in LaLiga action today as they travel to Valencia to meet Levante at the Estadi Ciutat de Valencia.
Los Blancos will still be smarting from last weekend, when they missed the chance to go above Atletico and into second in the table after blowing an early lead in a shock 2-1 home loss to Girona.
Santiago Solari made too many changes for a defeat which left his third-place side two points adrift of Atletico and nine behind leaders Barcelona.
Levante, managed by Paco Lopez, claimed a big away victory over Celta Vigo last time out and sit 12th, seven points above the relegation zone and six off a top-six spot.
Real Madrid team news and line-up
Real Madrid XI: Courtois, Carvajal, Varane, Nacho, Reguilón, Modric, Casemiro, Kroos; Lucas, Benzema, Vinicius
Subs: Navas, Vallejo, Bale, Marcelo, Valverde, Asensio, Ceballos
Score prediction: Levante 1-3 Real Madrid
Real can ill afford another slip-up this weekend if they are to keep pace with Atletico and not head into those back-to-back Clasico contests completely devoid of confidence.
They should bounce back with a comfortable away victory.
