Christian Rodska was a talented and hard-working actor, but his charitable works should also be recognised. As a publican in Weston village, Bath, I was delighted to host several events when Christian, with his wife Barbara Kellermann, appeared in and co-produced shows to raise funds for local charities, among them Clic, the local Royal United hospital and Citizens Advice. One show of poetry on the themes of love and war was so popular that we had to run it for a second night.
