Benjamin Whitrow was a theatre man from the top of his head to the tips of his toes.
Ben was also a great fan of cricket and a member of the National Theatre Cricket Club. His style and grace at the crease lit up some dreary south London recs, and his wickedly droll sense of humour was an added pleasure off the field of the play.
