'Lethargic, passive, complacent' Leeds United fans give their verdict on Sheffield Wednesday defeat

Leeds United fans were left frustrated after they watched their side slump to a late 2-0 defeat against Sheffield Wednesday at Elland Road.

After impressing against Premier League Arsenal in Monday night's narrow FA Cup defeat at the Emirates, Marcelo Bielsa's men squandered a number of first-half chances as the sides went in level.

That trend continued after the break, with Bielsa bringing on fit-again Pablo Hernandez on 66 minutes as the hosts looked to carve out an opener, only to be undone by two goals.

Jacob Murphy beat Kiko Casilla at his near post to put Garry Monk's side ahead on 87 minutes, with substitute Aidhe Nuhiu adding a second deep in stoppage time to hand Leeds a fifth defeat of the Championship season.

The loss means West Brom moved a point ahead of Leeds in the Championship table after their 2-2 draw with Charlton, while third place Brentford closed the gap between them and the Whites to six points after they saw off QPR in the day's early kick-off.

Whites fans were left ruing what they saw as a complacent display as they called upon the club to act decisively in the January transfer window.

Here's how Leeds fans reacted on social media...
