'Let the madness commence' - Fans 'embrace the ridiculousness' of The Masked Singer to kick off 2022

The Masked Singer is back on our screens for 2022 - and fans were rejoicing in its return after a tough year.

Viewers were excited to see the ITV guessing show, which has stars singing in disguise, kicking off the new year in typically bonkers style.

Fans at home were thrilled to have some fun and escapism on New Year's Day and took to Twitter to have their say.

The first winner in January 2020 was former Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts as Queen Bee.

And the second series winner in December 2020 was Joss Stone as sausage.
