Let the boys from Yale regale

The Spizzwinks, an a cappella singing group of male students from Yale University, will bring their unique blend of sweet harmonies and tongue-in-cheek humour to the Kingdom for two special performances later this month.

See the oldest underclassman a cappella group from the US perform in two cities on two consecutive evenings. The first show will take place in Pattaya at The Greenery in Siam Bayshore Resort on May 21 at 7.30pm, while the second will be held in Bangkok at the Rattanakosin Room in Sukosol Hotel, Si Ayutthaya Road, on May 22 at 8.30pm.

Founded in 1914, The Spizzwinks have sung everywhere from local New Haven elementary schools all the way to businesses and universities in London, Cape Town, Los Angeles, Beijing and Istanbul.

Since their inception, the all-male a cappella group has proudly carried on a tradition of musical excellence and camaraderie as one of the US's oldest male choirs, fusing tradition and innovation to bring audiences a unique and unforgettable concert experience.

They sing jazz standards, contemporary pop, classic hits and everything in between. Recent concert highlights include performances at the US State Department, Madison Square Garden, Carnegie Hall, the Connecticut Open tennis tournament, and for Lady Gaga at Yale's Emotion Revolution summit.

On the international stage, The Spizzwinks' have performed at the Forbidden City Concert Hall in Beijing, China, and in several historic churches in Istanbul.

Tickets for the first show cost 499 baht including a welcome drink and light snack, and 1,200 baht including a welcome drink, light snack and pre-show seafood BBQ buffet at Bali Hai By The Sea.

Tickets for the second show cost 499 baht including one standard cocktail or mocktail (299 baht for students), and 1,399 baht including a cocktail/mocktail and a pre-show buffet dinner at Patummat restaurant.
