'Let's attack' - Blackburn boss sends message ahead of Nottingham Forest clash

Tony Mowbray has urged his Blackburn Rovers side to "attack" high-flying Nottingham Forest.

Third-placed Forest take on Blackburn at Ewood Park in Tuesday night's Sky Bet Champoionship encounter.

Sabri Lamouchi's men could go back to the top of the table, if results go their way.

Meanwhile, 11th placed Rovers are looking to bounce back from a 2-1 home defeat to Luton Town on Saturday.

“When you break the weekend game down, we contrived to lose, but let’s be positive now, let’s try to keep dominating games and let’s attack Nottingham Forest," said Mowbray, at his pre-match press conference.

“They’re a decent side who I don’t think have been beaten since the opening day of the season.

“Let’s keep going, this is the next game and the next opportunity for us.

“Let’s get back to doing what we’re good at and look to keep improving.

"Together, we know what we need to get better at and, hopefully, we’ll see improvement."
