Nottingham Forest fans have been having their say after the club confirmed talented Academy graduate Brennan Johnson had signed a new long-term-contract.
The 18-year-old has put pen to paper and committed his future to the Reds, despite a number of clubs understood to have shown an interest in the youngster.
Johnson only made his senior debut earlier this season, when he came off the bench in the opening day defeat at home to West Bromwich Albion.
He made his full debut in the Carabao Cup against Derby County, starting in the 3-0 thumping at The City Ground.
The midfielder was given a chance by Forest boss Sabri Lamouchi in pre-season and impressed.
Speaking after giving Johnson his debut, Lamouchi said: “He is under 18 and is just an unbelievable player with the right mentality.
“I said to him, like I say to all the players, ‘I don’t care about the age or the name’. He deserved to play.
“And for me, it was the right choice, without any doubt.”
