'Let both go' - Jose Enrique names two Liverpool players he would allow to leave

Former Liverpool defender Jose Enrique says he would let 'both' Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita depart Anfield and bring in Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham as a replacement.

The pair are out of contract in 2023 and question marks over their future are starting to arise as they are about to enter the final year of their current deals. Neither has become a mainstay under Klopp in recent years, with misfortune on the injury front playing a significant part.

Keita has featured on 27 occasions in all competitions this season, while Oxlade-Chamberlain has made 29 appearances.

Enrique asked supporters on Instagram whether the club should award Keita with a new deal and in response to one fan, he replied: "I agree [to letting Ox go], but I will let both go and find a replacement.

"Maybe (Jude) Bellingham and another one as we will make money off the sales."

Both have been linked with moves away from Anfield in recent times, with r eports suggesting Oxlade-Chamberlain turned down a move to Newcastle United in the January transfer window in a bid to fight his place in Klopp's team.

Keita has also been tentatively linked with a move to La Liga with Barcelona, although reports have certainly subsided in recent times. Injury problems have impacted the Guinea international at times again this season, with a hamstring issue before Christmas and a minor knee injury saw him miss the Watford clash earlier this month.

Oxlade-Chamberlain, however, appears to have put his injury concerns aside this term and has missed no games through injury. He has, however, been largely restricted to the bench and hasn't been named in the Premier League matchday squad on three occasions this season.
