Lesmahagow's Lunar Gymnastics Club host Danish national team

Lunar Gymnastics Club hosted the national Danish performance team at their gym last Friday.

The Danish gymnasts and coaches hosted a workshop for children from Coalburn and Bent Primary Schools.

Kids had a fantastic afternoon and the day was finished off with a performance from Lunar Titans.

Lunar Gymnastics Club were in action over the weekend in tumbling competitions.

Keira Smillie (8) from Braidwood took home a bronze medal in her age group.

The club is in preparation for their Gymtastic festival.

Gymtastic 2019 will feature 35 different teams from 22 clubs from across the UK, with 600 performers and 40 routines in a spectacular weekend of gymnastics over Saturday and Sunday.

The event is at Lunar’s gym in Gateside Industrial Estate, Lesmahagow, with morning sessions starting at 10am
and afternoon sessions taking place at 1pm.

Doors open at 9.30am and 12.30pm on both days. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by emailing lunargymclub@gmail.com. Further information can be found at lunargymnasticsclub.com
