LeSean McCoy questionable to return vs. Ravens with ankle injury

Kansas City Chiefs RB LeSean McCoy got the start vs. the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.

McCoy was questionable heading into the game with an ankle injury and he tested it out pregame. He showed the Chiefs training staff enough to not only be active but be the starter for the game. After some impressive running through nearly four full quarters of play, McCoy appears unable to finish the game.

He’s been ruled questionable to return and I wouldn’t expect to see him back in there unless the Chiefs absolutely need him to grind out some tough yardage as the clock winds down.

If McCoy doesn’t see another touch he with eight carries for 54 yards and a touchdown. He also has three receptions on three targets for 26 yards and a touchdown. He’s been one of the most impressive players on the field against the Ravens.

Hopefully, the Chiefs are just taking him out as a precaution to give him a rest after he’s carried the load all day long. This could allow for Darrel Williams and Darwin Thompson to see some action late in the game, though, I expect the Chiefs to keep throwing the ball and build on their lead as the fourth quarter winds down.
