Les Snead: Rams not looking ahead to Super Bowl ‘at this point in time’

The Los Angeles Rams are now a month removed from their loss in Super Bowl LIII and are knee-deep in their offseason work. The sting is slowly wearing off as everyone from coaches to players to executives look ahead to 2019.

In doing so, it’s important to Les Snead that the Rams don’t get ahead of themselves. He doesn’t think now is the time to look toward Super Bowl LIV, instead focusing on the task at hand, which is getting better.

The Rams have issues to address such as their impending free agents and potential cap casualties like Mark Barron. While the Super Bowl is the ultimate goal, Snead is going to take it one step at a time.

“At this point in time, we start ’19, at no point should we be thinking Super Bowl. It’s what can we do today to get better?” he said.

The Rams are sure to be one of the best teams in the league next season, but as we see every year, getting back to the Super Bowl – let alone the playoffs – is far from guaranteed.
