British featherweight prospect Lerone Muphy will return to the octagon on September 4 to face young Canadian fighter Charles Jourdain.
The Manchester native made his debut in the promotion on the undercard of Khabib Nurmagomedov's Dubai title defence against Dustin Poirier in 2019, drawing with Zubaira Tukhugov to extend his unbeaten career streak to nine fights.
And he came back the following July when he stopped Ricardo Ramos in the first round and then got his second promotional win over Douglas Andrade this January.
His win over Ramos earned him a performance of the night bonus on the undercard of Calvin Kattar vs Dan Ige, which would become famous for featuring the debut of Khamzat Chimaev.
And he now faces off against 25-year-old Canadian Charles Jourdain, a fighter five years his junior, but a promotional veteran of five bouts so far.
Jourdain has faced the likes of Doo Ho Choi and Andre Fili in his career with MMA's top promotion, going 2-2-1 in his career so far with them, and despite winning his last fight against Marcelo Rojo will likely see this as a last chance to cement his spot.

Murphy, on the other hand will look to extend his unbeaten run to twelve fights, eleven of which are wins, holding a UFC record of 2-0-1.
Mirror Fighting understands that while the UFC Apex in Las Vegas is the expected venue for the bout, it is not necessarily set in stone, and the event will begin at a special UK start time of 6pm for the prelims, with a 9pm main card.
The September 4 event was expected to be the UFC's return to London, with the O2 Arena tentatively booked in, but the event was recently moved, likely due to restrictions.
As of this month, England is allowing fully vaccinated visitors from the United States into the country without having to quarantine.
However, it's fair to assume that quarantine rules for unvaccinated fighters will inevitably cause issues for the London event, which is perhaps why the UFC has decided to move it across the Atlantic.
And travel restrictions remain in place for anyone flying back to America from the UK or the EU, which likely makes the event too logistically difficult for the promotion to put on at this time.
The show will feature a number of British fighters, with TalkSport announcing today that English heavyweight hope Tom Aspinall will also appear, taking on Sergei Pavlovich.
Fan favourite Cage Warriors champion Paddy Pimblett will also make his debut for the promotion agaist Luigi Vendramini on the prelims.
In the co-main event Paul Craig from Scotland will take on former world title contender Alexander Gustafsson and Jack Shore from Wales will also appear against Russian Said Nurmagomedov.
