Leonardo DiCaprio, Jonah Hill and Chloe Grace Moretz party at MOMA

Leonardo DiCaprio has been busy lately - and not just because he’s keeping up with his 21-year-old model girlfriend on a seemingly endless vacation. The actor ventured to the Museum of Modern Art’s annual film benefit on Monday night to honor Martin Scorsese, his favorite director and collaborator.

DiCaprio wasn’t the only one in attendance for the museum's festivities. Comedian Jonah Hill, who’s been making the rounds as a serious director after releasing his debut Mid90s (and who, sidenote, Insider physically ran into three times in one year), also stopped by to talk about the director’s influence on his recent work.

Both DiCaprio and Hill worked with Scorsese on The Wolf of Wall Street in 2013. DiCaprio has made five films with the star-maker, while Robert De Niro, who also made an appearance, has made nine.

“Thank you for just existing, because I am only up here because you did what you did,” Jonah told his idol, offering the ultimate compliment.

Hill and DiCaprio weren’t the only A-listers in attendance. Chloe Grace Moretz, Sutton Foster, Emily Mortimer, Natasha Lyonne, Drew Barrymore, and Chloe Sevigny all showed their support.

Perhaps Moretz was looking for a little inspiration. During a recent Vulture panel, the 21-year-old actress said that she’s “always been fascinated with what it’s like to be a director.” Where better to learn the craft?
