Leonardo DiCaprio candle by artist Urs Fischer reportedly in the works for his Gagosian Gallery exhibition

Get ready to see Leonardo DiCaprio go down in a flame of glory - and not because one of his model ex-girlfriends is burning an effigy.

Contemporary artist Urs Fischer’s next show is at the Gagosian gallery in Paris and rumor has it that he’ll be debuting an interesting piece. An unnamed source told ARTnews that his piece, named only “Leo” is actually about actor Leonardo DiCaprio.

In the past, Fischer has created sculptural portraits, life-sized wax candles of people, including artist Julian Schnabel. The source said that the DiCaprio piece is probably a candle but could not confirm.

A DiCaprio recreation wouldn’t be Fischer's only pop culture piece. He previously crafted a giant clay sculpture of Katy Perry that was displayed in New York City. Viewers were allowed to touch the piece - perhaps that will be the same for the reported Leo candle (watch out for fans attempting to act out the iconic Titanic bow scene.)

Urs Fischer's Paris exhibition opens on October 14 so we’ll have to wait until then to see what exactly 'Leo' looks like.
