Leonard Fournette turns charming video into brutal roast of Blake Bortles

Leonard Fournette has had an up-and-down start to his career in Jacksonville, but the 2017 first-round pick has been consistently good at one thing these past three seasons: Roasting his Jaguars teammates, past and present.

His former teammates in the Rams locker room have gotten it the worst. Jalen Ramsey has felt Fournette’s wrath more than once. But the former LSU star may have saved his best roast for former Jaguars QB Blake Bortles.

Before the Jaguars’ 29-15 win over the Jets 29-15, Fournette played a game of catch with one lucky fan who hadn’t quite learned how to throw a football. That game of catch was posted to the Jags’ Twitter account, and Fournette retweeted it along with a dig at Bortles …

I don’t know who I feel worse for, Bortles or the kid. That’s a brutal joke by Fournette and one that might hit too close to home for his old teammate.

Bortles’ mechanical problems have been well-documented throughout his career. At one point during the 2016 season, he admitted that he wasn’t a natural passer, which is shocking to hear from an NFL quarterback.

He had worked with Tom House to fix them, and it looked like Bortles had figured things out before resorting to bad tendencies, which ultimately led to his benching last season, but not before he put on performances like this one against the Chiefs.

On second thought, I definitely feel worse for the kid.
