Leona Lewis, Strictly and Love Island stars lead the way with iconic Halloween costumes

British and Irish stars have been pulling out all the stops when it comes to celebrating Halloween this year.

Love Island stars Maura Higgins and Ellie Brown paid tribute to iconic American celebrities as they donned fancy dress outfits for this year's Halloween parties, as Little Mix singer and Disney fan Jade Thrilwall looked stunning in her Princess Jasmine costume ahead of a bash.

X Factor winner and new mum Leona Lewis looked incredible as she paid homage to another famous reality TV show, Love Island, while the ITV2 show's new host Maya Jama looked unrecognisable as she rocked prosthetic wrinkles to become a 'Bad Grandma'.

The latest celebrity Halloween looks come following Heart Breakfast presenter Amanda Holden leading the way with a spooky transformation on Friday, and TOWIE legend Gemma Collins donning a leather catsuit for the KISS Haunted House Party.

Love Island star Maura was ready to get the party started on Friday night, as she unveiled her ' Lady Mauralade' outfit to fans.

The reality TV star, who recently enjoyed a smooch with Joey Essex, looked incredible as she recreated Christina Aguilera's saucy look from the music video for the 2001 hit song, Lady Marmalade.

Maura looked like X-tina's double, as she posed in a huge crimped blonde wig, a red corset-style ensemble, long, silk red gloves and a dash of bling accessories.

"Wasn’t ready," pregnant pal and fellow Love Island alum Molly-Mae Hague gushed under her friend's post on Instagram, as Pete Wicks joked: "Barnet looks like mine in the morning."

New mum Leona may have made her name on another ITV reality TV show, but it was all about Love Island when it came to her Halloween outfit this year.

The X Factor legend, 37, showed her appreciation to the female finalists from this year's series of Love Island, as she posed in outfits worn by winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, Indiyah Polack, Tasha Ghouri and Gemma Owen against a 'Leona Island' backdrop.

"Happy Halloween," Leona began in her caption on Instagram. "Most of you know I’m obsessed with @loveisland and I love these girls so had to be all them this year! Who would you crack on with?"

"Omg I love it," Tasha gushed in the comments, as Indiyah was also appreciative of her Leona's tribute, writing: "Love this."

Ellie, who appeared on Love Island in 2018, paid homage to Pamela Anderson with her Halloween costume on Saturday - just like Hollywood actress Megan Fox.

The reality TV star took to her Instagram account to give fans a glimpse of her attempt to transform herself into the Baywatch icon - rocking a tight black corset, fishnets, thigh-high boots and a temporary version of Pammy's famous barbed wire tattoo.

"Pammy," Ellie simply captioned her post to her followers, as fans rushed to congratulate the star on her efforts.

"You were born to be Pam," one compliment underneath the star's post reads, with fellow Love Island star Kendall Rae Knight writing: "Omg this hair needs to stay."

Jayde pulled out all the stops and even painted her entire body and face light purple and wore her blonde locks up in a huge quiff to make sure her Halloween outfit was spot on.

Maya looked worlds away from her usual glam self as she transformed into a Bad Grandma for Halloween.

The new Love Island host, 28, shunned a sexy costume as she donned a grey wig, glasses, pink nightie and cardigan which she accessorised with pearls, a handbag and a walking stick.

She took her choice of outfit so seriously, Maya even had prosthetic wrinkles on her face and liver spots added to her hands.

Before her party kicked off at Oslo bar in Hackney on Friday night, the television host uploaded a teaser clip to Instagram.

Captioning the post "Bad Grandma is ready to party", Maya proceeded to twerk to the camera as dancehall track So Mi Like It by Spice played in the background.
