Leon Osman believes Dominic Calvert-Lewin is missing Everton team-mate Lucas Digne 'massively'.
Calvert-Lewin has not scored for five Premier League matches after bagging 11 at the start of the campaign.
But former Everton midfielder Osman is not concerned by his drought and blames a lack of creativity at Goodison Park since Digne was injured.
The French full-back has created four goals this season with three being converted by Calvert-Lewin.
Osman said: "I don't think [Calvert-Lewin] has been missing opportunities. He has been in the right areas.
"Everton have concentrated more on nicking results and are not creating as much. He has missed Lucas Digne massively."

Osman insists Everton and Carlo Ancelotti should target European qualification but need to cut out the 'sloppy' performances after defeat to West Ham United.
He added: "Everton were so exciting to watch in the first run of games.
"They were scoring goals at will but they were also conceding, I think the average was two a game.
"Carlo has said about not wanting his full-backs to go anywhere. He doesn't want to create opportunities for other people.
"That said, chances are not getting created at the other end. [Against West Ham United] it was more about Everton being sloppy. They were giving passes away."
Osman continued: "If you had said that Everton would be here at the start of the season, people would have said that's okay.
"I'm not sure that Carlo will dwell on this game.
"They have had a progressive 2020 by appointing a new manager halfway through the season.
"From where they were at the start of 2020, European football should certainly be the aim."
