Leon King has opened up on his Rangers future amid speculation linking him with a host of English Premier League clubs - including Manchester United.
The 18-year-old is reported to have the likes of Erik ten Hag's men plus top flight rivals Leeds United and Newcastle United keen on his services after breaking into Giovanni van Bronckhorst's first-team set-up. He was handed a big career moment with a start in the Battle of Britain Champions League clash with Liverpool at Anfield.
He is set for a consistent run in the Rangers side after injury to ever-present stopper Connor Goldson. The former Brighton man hobbled off in the Ibrox return against Jurgen Klopp's men and is set to be missing for a number of months. King came on for the defender in that clash and started the weekend win over Motherwell at Fir Park alongside Ben Davies. King is contracted to Rangers until 2024 and has admitted he'd like to remain at the Light Blues for as long as possible. His only focus is on the job at hand and not the outside noise or speculation.

He said: “To be honest, I just concentrate on the job I have here. I do not pay attention to anything that is outside these gates and four walls.
“Again, I’d like to stay at Rangers for as long as possible. But that’s up to the folk off the pitch. I have representatives that deal with that.
“I’ve supported Rangers all my life, so to pull the jersey on and play in front of the fans at Ibrox is amazing. It’s something that I’ve always dreamed of. I hope it continues.
“It is amazing. To get the chance at such a big football club, it is surreal for me. And obviously my family are very proud as well.
“It is a massive opportunity. But it is up to me to take that opportunity. Obviously the boss has shown he can play players in different positions as well so it is up to me to grasp the opportunity with both hands.
“I only really see this as the start. Being a young one and getting flung into the first team at such a young age, and seeing the likes of Alex (Lowry) and Charlie (McCann) getting their chance as well, and being a Rangers fan as well it is amazing.”
