Leon Bailey's agent opens door to summer transfer amid Tottenham and Everton links

The agent of Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey has opened the door to a transfer away from the club this summer amid interest from the Premier League.

Both Tottenham and Everton are reportedly keen on signing the highly-rated Jamaica international, who has previously been touted for a move to a host of European sides.

Leverkusen, despite qualifying for next season's Champions League, face a stern battle to retain the services of some of their most prized assets.

Kai Havertz looks set to join Chelsea, with a move being held up due to the club's continued involvement in the Europa League, and it seems Bailey could follow him out of the door.

Aidy Ward, Bailey's new agent who has previously engineered Raheem Sterling's controversial move from Liverpool to Manchester City, has opened the door for a summer move.

“The club [Leverkusen] told his stepfather that he can go for a certain amount.

"As soon as I have spoken to the club and the situation is clear, we will know what to do," he told Sport1.

The 22-year-old has made 32 appearances across all competitions for Leverkusen this season, contributing seven goals and three assists.
