Leon announces plans for first Leeds restaurant

A hugely popular healthy fast food chain will be opening its first restaurant in Leeds this year.

Leon is setting up a new eatery at Leeds station, but it hasn't announced an opening date yet.

Adam Blaker, Leon’s property director, said: “After much demand, LEON will be opening its first restaurant in Leeds later this year.

"The restaurant will have some new and exciting dishes and features especially for our Leeds customers but we are keeping details under wraps until launch.”

Founded in 2004, the restaurant chain is known for offering healthy Mediterranean meals that are served swiftly.

Leon is based in London, but it has opened chains in Manchester and the Midlands in recent years.
