Leo the Silent Raver returns to the streets of Glasgow in time for Christmas

In October a campaign was launched to help 'free' Leo the Silent Raver so he could return to doing what he's most famous for - showing off his dance moves on the city centre streets.

One of Glasgow's most well-loved characters, Leo had been confined to his care home due to the ongoing pandemic, leading a friend to launch the campaign to bring his plight to the attention of the public - most of whom who will have seen Leo out and about over the years.

The good news we are happy to share is that Leo has made a welcome return to the streets, after he was spotted dancing outside the St Enoch Centre on Argyle Street over the weekend.

A video shows him busting some moves on the rain-soaked street to the sound of a busker playing an acoustic version of Blink 182's 'I Miss You', as shoppers go about their business.

You could say now that, at least from a Glasgow perspective, 'nature is healing' now that Leo has been back at it showing off his moves - and putting smiles on faces in the process!

Gaun yersel' Leo!
