Paris Saint-Germain will attempt to establish a six-point lead at the top of Ligue 1 on Saturday night when they play at Angers after second-placed Lens dropped two points following a 3-3 draw at Brest.

Daouda Guindo, Lucas Tousart and Eric-Junior Dina-Ebimbe racked up the goals for the hosts in the first-half.

France international Florian Thauvin started the Lens fightback on the hour mark and Abdallah Sima scored their second four minutes later.

Allan Saint-Maxim equalised in stoppage-time to salvage a point.

The stalemate at the Stade Francis le Blé left Lens on 63 points – three points behind PSG – after 30 of the season's 34 games.

PSG, who are chasing a fifth consecutive Ligue 1 crown and a record-extending 14th overall, go into their 30th Ligue 1 fixture at the Stade Raymond Kopa in Angers without their midfield playmaker Vitinha.

The 26-year-old Portugal international limped off during the first-half of last Sunday's 2-1 defeat to Lyon and sat out the 3-0 victory over Nantes at the Parc des Princes on Wednesday night as he recovered from a swollen right heel.

He could miss Tuesday night's first leg against Bayern Munich in the semi-final of the Champions League.

Vitinha, with Portuguese compatriot Joao Neves and the Spain international Fabian Ruiz on either flank were dominant players in the midfield as PSG surged to six trophies in 2025 ranging from the French Super Cup, Ligue 1 and Coupe de France to the Champions League, European Super Cup and the Fifa Intercontinental Cup.

On the eve of the game against Angers, PSG boss Luis Enrique refused to overdramatise Vitinha's absence.

"All of our midfielders can play in the different combinations that we want and it will be fine," said the 55-year-old Spaniard.

A Ligue 1 game against Lorient on 2 May follows the Champions League first leg before PSG travel to Munich for the second leg in Munich on 6 May.

On 9 May, PSG host Brest and on 13 May, they play at Lens in what could be a title decider.

The match should have been played on 11 April but the Ligue de Football Professionnel, which runs Ligue 1, dismissed Lens' objections and allowed PSG to postpone the fixture as part of their preparations for the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final against Liverpool.

PSG finish the 2025/2026 season at Paris FC on 16 May.

"We've got a tough road ahead because there are a lot of games to come," Enrique added.

"But we're very happy about that, and we like having this schedule. We got a bad result against Lyon and a good result against Nantes.

"We'll look to control what we can control and nothing more. We know that the next few games will be very important, both for our chances of winning Ligue 1 and for our chances of reaching the Champions League final."

Lens are also in two competitions. On Tuesday night, they thrashed Toulouse 4-1 to reach the final of the Coupe de France for the first time since 1998.

Games at Nice and home to Nantes follow before the clash against PSG on 13 May.

Lens conclude their Ligue 1 campaign on 16 May at Lyon who are battling for one of the four places that provide a berth in the group phase of the 2026/27 Champions League.

"It’s not going to be easy because our squad doesn’t have much experience of winning," said Lens boss Pierre Sage.

"We’re learning every day, and I hope we’ll quickly put into practice everything we need to do to make the leap from being contenders to champions."
