FAQs
Does Lenovo offer free shipping?
Lenovo offers free shipping on all orders. You can also opt for expedited shipping during the checkout process, though keep in mind you'll need to pay for the faster shipping (unless you're a Lenovo Rewards member). Standard free shipping should arrive in 4-9 days, while expedited shipping arrives in 1-4 days.
Are Lenovo laptops good?
Lenovo is known worldwide for its laptops, and we at Tom's Guide rated the IdeaPad Slim 3x 4 stars thanks to its great battery life and solid performance for a budget laptop. We also reviewed multiple laptops, including the Lenovo Flex 5i, the Lenovo Slim 7, and the Yoga Pro 9i, all of which received 4 stars or more. We're confident that Lenovo has the laptop to suit your needs.
Is Lenovo Windows?
Yes, Lenovo mainly uses Windows as its operating system for its laptops and tablets. While Lenovo also offers some devices with other systems like Linux, Windows is the most common one.
Can I get a Lenovo student discount?
Students and teachers can receive a 5% discount on Lenovo laptops, smartphones, tablets & PCs, as well as up to 50% off accessories, when they verify their account with a valid ID.me account. The discount applies to selected models, including the ThinkPad, Legion & IdeaPad laptops, and Legion, ThinkCentre & IdeaCentre desktops.
Is there a Lenovo trade-in service?
Yes, the Lenovo trade-in program allows you to trade in your old devices to receive discounts on new purchases. You can check the value of your device online to see how much credit you'll get before shipping anything out. Simply enter details about your device into the online form to receive a quote.
Does Lenovo price match?
Lenovo's price protection scheme is the brand's equivalent of price match. Suppose selected retailers are selling a Lenovo model, or a Dell or HP computer of equivalent specifications, at a lower price than the one listed on the Lenovo website. In that case, they will match that lower price. You'll need to ensure the item is in stock with both Lenovo and the rival retailer, and that it matches the specifications (i.e., graphics card, RAM, processor, operating system & screen size) exactly to qualify. Please note that software, refurbished devices, sale items, and custom-built technology are exempt from the price match scheme.
Does Lenovo offer a warranty on its products?
Yes, most Lenovo products come with a warranty, and you can find out the duration of your warranty on the Lenovo warranty check page. Enter your product serial number into the field to view the plan you're currently on, its duration, and whether it's eligible for an upgrade (useful if you're looking to extend your coverage). If you're having technical issues, you can access a range of resources through Lenovo Support.
What's the Lenovo returns policy?
Lenovo offers free returns for its products within 30 days of the invoice. For outlet orders, return requests must be done within 14 days of the invoice. Make sure you return your item undamaged and in its original packaging. To start the returns process, get in touch with Lenovo customer service, and make sure you have your device details to hand.
Lenovo Saving Tips
Wait for a seasonal sale: Like many other big-name tech brands, Lenovo runs seasonal sales at key retail periods throughout the year, where you can find items at up to 70% off. Make sure to check in around Black Friday, New Year's, Memorial Day and Christmas for the best deals.
Browse the Lenovo outlet: The Lenovo outlet is a great way to save if you don't need your next machine to be brand new. You'll find open-box, clearance & refurbished devices at up to 70% off their usual price, saving you on Lenovo laptops, PCs, smartphones & more.
Check out the Lenovo clearance section: The Lenovo Clearance section features a selection of older or discontinued devices that the retailer isn't planning to restock, and these are sold at up to an additional 15% off compared to new devices. These lower prices can also be subject to sales and promotions, meaning you can see discounts of up to $500 off older Lenovo ThinkPad, IdeaPad & Legion models.
Join My Lenovo Rewards: My Lenovo Rewards is the tech brand's loyalty program, which rewards customers with 2-3% of the value of their purchases in points. Points can then be redeemed against other orders for a discount, with every 1000 points worth $1. Reward points discounts will be applied automatically when they're available. Joining the scheme also provides members with additional benefits, including entry into competitions and sweepstakes, early access to new products, birthday rewards, community rewards, and exclusive members-only discounts.
Get Lenovo professional discounts: It's not just teachers & students who can save a little extra on Lenovo products. First responders, parents, healthcare workers, & seniors can all get 5% off their Lenovo orders by verifying their identity.Me account.
Get a Lenovo Business discount with PRO Business & Affinity: If you're ordering for a business, using the PRO Business or Affinity schemes can net you 5% off items from across the Lenovo range. As a bonus, you'll also receive free expedited shipping, and your returns period will be extended to 45 days.
Sign up for the Lenovo newsletter: If you want to stay up to date with the latest Lenovo sales, product news & offers, you can sign up for the newsletter with your chosen email address. You'll also be sent an introductory promo code for 10% off your next order.

How we source coupon codes
The coupons you’ll find on Tom’s Guide have been sourced by our dedicated coupons team, who use the web, our relationships with retailers, & our affiliate networks to find the latest codes. The offers on each coupon page are updated every few days to ensure we feature the freshest ways to save, and our commercial team (based in London) also sources exclusive codes and sales info directly from some of the biggest retailers around.
How we test coupon codes
All the coupon codes we list on our pages have been tested by our deals & offers teams to ensure they work as intended before being uploaded. You’ll find a wide range of coupons on Tom’s Guide, including free shipping offers, student discounts, and savings on various kinds of products.
To ensure that all listed codes are available to use, we don’t include any one-time use or user-specific coupons. We also provide as much information as we can to keep things as clear as possible - any expiry dates or terms & conditions will be listed alongside the code. Look for the ‘Terms & Conditions’ text - you’ll be able to click this to expand this section for more details.
What to do if a coupon code doesn’t work
We take care to only list tried & tested coupons on our pages, so all codes should be active and confer the listed discount or deal. However, although we keep up to date with expiry dates and any terms & conditions, sometimes retailers change these before we can update our pages.
Should a coupon fail to work as expected, check you meet any listed requirements. These can include minimum spends, multibuy offers, or product-specific promotions (i.e. 10% off selected tablets). You can view all associated requirements by clicking “View terms and conditions” below your code.
If this does not solve your issue, you can contact our customer service team by emailing coupons.tomsguide@futurenet.com. Make sure to let us know which coupon you were trying to use and which page this was listed on, and we’ll be in touch to help as soon as possible.
How we make money
Tom’s Guide makes money from coupons through a commission-based model. We have agreements in place with each retailer on our site - for every purchase made using one of our coupons or deals, we earn a small percentage of the order total back in commission.
Thanks to this model, we can save our customers money without charging them a thing. You won’t pay a penny to get the discounts listed on our pages, so whichever code or deal you choose, you’ll get exactly what it says on the tin.
