Lenny Henry is coming to Liverpool as part of a UK tour - here's where to get tickets

Lenny Henry will embark upon a 34-show tour across the UK this Autumn with a show at Liverpool's Empire Theatre scheduled for November 6.

The tour coincides with the release of Henry's autobiography "Who Am I, Again?" where the comic shares stories of growing up in the Midlands and his early days in show-business.

The show will be split into two sections, he'll be taking audiences through a jam session of funny and sad memories - from growing up in the Black Country to puberty, school, friendship, family secrets and unashamed racism.

In part two Lenny will be interviewed by friend, broadcaster and author Jon Canter for further insights into his life and career, followed by questions from the audience.

A comedian since the age of 16 years old, Lenny Henry first rose to stardom on children's TV.

Over the years he established himself as one of the country's leading comics and is perhaps best known for his role as a Comic Relief co-founder - a commitment which helped earn him a knighthood back in 2015.

Along with his work in comedy, Lenny Henry has also worked as a writer, TV presenter and radio DJ.

Where can I get tickets?
